MayThe Cape May Fire Department is a combination department with fourteen career, fifteen part-time, and thirty volunteer members. Personnel of the Department are committed to the preservation of life and property through the provision of fire prevention programs, fire code enforcement, property inspections, public education, fire suppression operations, emergency medical services, and various specialized rescue operations. We proudly protect 6,000 permanent residents and approximately 40,000 summer visitors living and staying in an area of 5 square miles.
